L'Arche Clinton, Iowa - The Arch

"I doubt whether it is possible to resist the seductions of wealth and of power and all the superficial pleasures that are offered to distract us, if we do not share in a community of forgiveness and celebration, centered on the weak." Jean Vanier

The L'Arche Community in Clinton Iowa is known as "The Arch." As explained by L'Arche USA, "L'Arche Communities, founded by Jean Vanier in France in 1964, bring together people, some with developmental disabilities and some without, who choose to share their lives by living together in faith-based communities.
